Abstract
This paper deals with the Dalit literature in
Mulk Raj Anand’s Untouchable and Coolie.
The introduction part is brief note on Dalit literature
and Anand. The next parts of the presentation
are Mulkraj Anand and his works,
Dalit literature in the works of Mulkraj Anand.
His first main novel, Untouchable, published in
1935, was a terrifying expose of a member of
India’s untouchable caste. Mulk Raj Anand’s
Untouchable explains about Mulk Raj Anand
views on Dalit literature. “Coolie” is the second
great political novel published in 1936. The
Conclusion sums up the things of Dalit literature
in Mulk Raj Anand novels.
