Abstract

An analysis is presented to investigate the heat absorption,
thermal-diffusion and diffusion- thermo effects on unsteady
viscous incompressible MHD flow along semi infinite inclined permeable moving plate with variable temperature and mass diffusion embedded in a porous medium. The governing partial differential equations are formulated and transformed by using a similarity transformation into a system of ordinary differential equations. The resulting equations are solved numerically by finite element method. The numerical results are compared and found to be good agreement with previously published results. The effects of the various dimensionless parameters entering into the problem on the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles across the boundary layer are investigated through graphs. Also the results of the skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number at the wall are prepared with various values of the parameters.
