Abstract
Indeed, even since the publication of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s novel ‘Rajmohan’s Wife” in 1864, Indian novel in English has developed huge amounts at a time in regard of mass, assortment and development. The scholarly scene in the start of 20thcentury was hence horrendous. However, the reality stays that truly spearheading endeavors were made by a few Indian writers to take advantage of the assets and capability of a free structure for self-articulation. One of the significant qualities of the Post-independent Indian English Writing is the development of woman authors. They gave a new breath of life to the writing. The woman authors have made sweeping changes in the field of Indian English Books. Begun writing in the last many years of the 20th century, Namita Gokhale and Anitha Nair are popular writers in the universe of Indian English Writing. Their determination of subjects in their books uncovers their sharp worry for the republic of women empowerment. Women possess a focal situation in her generally books. Namita Gokhale and Anitha Nair as cognizant individuals have noticed human existence, social design and developed alongside the evolving worldview. This paper investigates the excursion of the rise of new woman in terms of social concerns.
